Wash My Dishes: An Ode

Oh, who would wash my dishes?
My hands are ever so weary.
A two year old is no help.
Only water,
water,
water,
everywhere.
Hark,a voice calls out.
Hello?
Friend?
Yes, a friend.
A friend to lighten my load.
A blessing, a smile, a ray of sunshine on a dreary day.
Oh, who would wash my dishes?
A friend indeed...

What a blessing! I'm sorry there's no one there to wash your dishes now. My heart is with both of you (you and Chelan, that is).

I'm sure she'd wash your dishes, Pris. She might need a hand washing her dishes pretty soon, so all you nw people be ready!

Dishes needing to be washed was the primary reason I had four children! It is also why I cried so much when they all left home.(Just kidding, guys!) What a good friend you have and I will have to put myself on the list of people in the NW waiting for Chelan to wash my dishes now.

Poor Chelan is going to have to hold her brand new baby and wash Lesa's dishes. Maybe Priscilla can come help!

Hey! One of my friends (who I saw in Kansas City this weekend) knows your brother, I think. Was he in AIM??? This world is too small sometimes... funny, though!

How can you let a pregnant lady wash your dishes?!

I didn't ask her to wash my dishes! They were over, on their last night in town, and our house was a little chaotic from the week and Ben saw her doing the dishes. He said,"Jen, grab the camera! She's washing your dishes!" Perfect opportunity, I thought... I must tell you, I, too, have wahed her dishes...

Christy, I hear you're a cute prego! I can't believe you're having them mid July!! I'll be praying everything goes amazingly well.

I always hoped that if I didn't post for at least two weeks, someone would inevitably comment again. You have proved me right. Thank you for the satisfaction!

oh my gosh... somehow I thought that your ode was in her voice "won't someone please wash my dishes... I'm a pregnant girl with nowhere to go..." but now I find that those are YOUR dishes? Who do you think you are Jennifer Reis... Who. Do. You. Think. You. Are? The other question I have for you is this: when will you post again? I realize that you have moved and have 3 children and a hilarious husband to watch after, but... you really need to get your priorities straight.

#1. I'm not desperate to have my dishes washed! It was just a friendly scrub-scrub so don't insult me, poo-poo.
#2. You can on the other hand insult me on my never postage-ness. That deserves attention! Please forgive me. I have been moving to another town for the last two weeks and haven't been on the computer for a week... I'll never stray again!

I hope T's room is working out well for you!:)
