Welcome to Sidney

This is our humble abode.

Can you see our well out front? We fetch water every day and boil all the impurities out. Then we dig a hole deep into the ground to help cool it down to soothe our parched throats from the exhausting heat...

This is our back porch. We have lovely grass and a lovely tree, perfect for climbing! There is also a lovely swing built for two and a third swing from our tree. On hot days we pull out the pool and lounge peacefully in the water. The children slide down the sweet little slide and splash playfully into the water. Refreshing...

This is our place of worship. We gracefully hike across the rocky parking lot each week and partake in the body of Christ. Glorious...

And so it is... The Church of Christ, Sidney...

I am SO glad we got to make a run out to beautiful downtown Sidney, Texas! It was great to to throw rocks off the bridge with Aiden into the "water." (Okay it was mud.)

I am glad the church has a 'steeple'. Makes it look like a church. Ya I know it is just a building. But hey it is nice if they look like a place of worship! Not something that looks like a barn.

i like that even your church has the texan flavor in their font. I kind of wish that the 'O' in the name was a star. that would be neat.

what an adoreable house and backyard. my heart is all warmed just by seeing your abode and your lovely new church! your backyard looks like the good kind - you know - the kind where you can have bbq's and stay up late talking loudly with friends and not having to worry about bothering the neighbors! what a cute place! -pris

I miss it. Cute cute cute. All so fun. Tell more. It's so charming. The football games, the varmants, the wood panel walls, the snakes... any good snakes yet? Any reason to shoot anything yet?
