Another Tragedy

Yes, folks something else occured today that left us empty. Well, left our yard empty. Well, in one particular area, at least.

The wind was blowing hard. Real hard.

I was coming back into the safety of my home when my husband pointed out something very sad.

Our pool was heading for Comanche...

Here you can see the poor girl plastered against the fence off in the distance.

Maybe we can rescue her.

I hope we can get to her in time!

HA! I love it!! Gotta love that Texas wind... I've decided Troutdale wind is about that crazy. Good luck catching up with it!

Hey, a suggestion for everyone. Go back to the blog and click on the picture. The picture becomes blown up and you can see the pool up close. You won't be disappointed.

Dude, that was exeedingly disappointing. Blowing that picture up did nothing for me. Kind of like your comments, Ben.

we have a wrethced oklahoma wind much like the wretched texas wind...it blew our porch swing right off the porch to the yard where she busted in half...pretty much.

Ben,
You have GOT to stop thinking that Aaron Metcalf and I are the same person. This has caused you much confusion in life and has reflected poorly on you in many of your graduate school papers. Please pray to me, and not Aaron. Look man, I know that we (Aaron and I) are extremely similar in nearly all ways but he is still not me. Don't get me wrong, there is a ton you have to learn from Aaron. The more time you spend sitting at his feet, gleaning pearls of wisdom from his amazing brian the better off you will be when the eschaton comes (sometime next Fall, by the way). But please know he (Aaron) is mortal (mostly) like you. Thanks buddy. Keep up the good (or just ok) work.

Jesus

oops...that's brain and not brian...Aaron does not have a brian. But he does have a brain. I do wish he had spell check (I use his computer often while he uses the restroom).
Peace,
Jesus

I love that photo. I'm sure glad Ben suggested that I blow it up.

I wonder if your pool waited for just the right day, when the wind would be strong and the gate would be open to make a break for it? How could your pool have known that on the other side of that field there would be a 12 foot fence?

Poor pool, back to its old life of playing with the kids...
