Halelujah!

Jehovah Jirah! My Provider! Will everyone please take note that I am blogging from my own bedroom! Jen is back in business! Beware what blogging may occur from this time forward. (Please note that I can never blog as much as Julia, I'm sure!)

As you may remember, I said I would be sharing about a book I read on grief. That will be forth coming. Unfortunately, we've had many in our congregation grieving as of late and I chose to share my great book. Since we all know how strong my memory is... I'm going to wait to give you an exeptionally accurate overview of this fantastic, yet short, book when I get it back.

Will you give a shout up to the big man on behalf of us and the many in our congregation suffering. I am getting more and more overwhelmed at the sudden deaths surrounding us. There are now three others besides Adam that have died tragically. What the heck?

I'm so sorry for all of the tragedy you guys are dealing with. We're thinking about you and praying for you.

Since Kristen used the last blog to give you and Ben tips on Ray Lamontagne (who is also one of our favorites-listen to "Till the Sun Turns Black"), I thought I'd use this one to give you another one of our favorites: Brandi Carlile. Especially the song "Throw it All Away." Music has helped us duing these last few months of grief. We make playlists and it seems to help sometimes.

Love you guys!

Jen, I'm so, so sorry. What is scary is when there is so much tragedy, we start to get numb to it all. Prayers for you and your family.

How is Ben doing with school? Has he started an official countdown yet? F.Y.I., Shane Meyer, East Side's pulpit minister and his wife are moving to Spain (?) so Holly can get her Masters...I still want you to work for L.S. though! Hmmm....how can I get you guys up here??? Greasy

I'm pretty sure that East Side would not be our cup of tea... However, if you wanted to fire your preacher or anything like that... We might have a replacement for you...

So far our options could be San Diego, Bellingham, WA, or Woodinville, WA...

What?? So anxious to get out of Texas? I'm shocked.

Continued prayers for you guys as you continue to grieve and with the prospect of new jobs as well.

I'm sorry that y'all are having to deal with so much lately. You are in our thoughts always. We're also thinking of you a lot as you start to make preparations for the next chapter of life. I do have to say we're sad that y'all are leaving Texas, though we don't blame you at all! We definitely have to spend some time together before you are gone!

As far as jobs go, Jeb and I would be thrilled if you worked in Woodinville...we could be neighbors! :)

Welcome back to the blogosphere! We're praying too, babe. It's so sad for so many in your church to all be in crisis! On the other hand, what an incredible time for a LOT of people to discover together God's mercies. Grief is a powerful dynamic and thsi can be a historic moment!

I love you, sweety.

Hi Jen - Just wanted you to know that I'm not going to post a comment on the last 10 of your entries that I just read because that would take too long - but I thoroughly enjoyed reading EVERY single one!! Sorry I had to play catch up but I will be better now...especially now that I know you have unlimited access to your computer!! I've told you before, but I love Adam's poem, it is perfect! We are missing him so much too. Be looking for a package from us in a few days. We love you guys!!!

You know what would be fun... if you lived near us! 2 of the 3 you listed are just a stone throw away!!! Then Lola and I could have friends! I don't know what is going on. Are you moving soon?
