KIP?(It's F.F.F.F.)(That stands for Friday Fun For Friends)
Do you see the resemblance? This is our good friend. Some like to call him Kip. We like to call him Adam.
Adam is a great friend. He'll throw a ball with you (which I enjoy, of course). He'll go on a hike, run around the block, play a little baseball, eat food with you, watch t.v., get your kids really wound up, talk a while, or even do your dishes... what else is there? Besides the fact that he's on Ben's Top Funniest People List, he knows how to be serious, too.
Adam is also on a list as one of the few men I've lived with in my life, which also includes my father, my husband, and the infamous Chris McPeak. Both Adam and Chris lived with us at different times throughout our eight years of marriage. Not the whole eight years just a bit of it! So Adam lived in our garage(we stuck a bed out there for him) and sat on our couches but he also paid for cable which was nice...
Unfortunately, just as we abandoned the state he lived in, he has now abandoned the country we live in. A long distance phone call costs a little bit more now... I guess it doesn't matter too much when you don't call Uganda... We got to see him last month which was a lot of fun. He restled with the kids and we got to all sit outside on the porch like old times. It was fun. He's fun. Go, Adam, Go.
Adam, the superhero power I would wish for you is being like The Iceman on The Incredibles 'cause it's hot there in Uganda and people might really like some ice. You could also help keep food cold when you have no power and then you wouldn't have to shop as much. Or at least your servants wouldn't have to shop as much...
Keep baptizing Ugandans, dude!

ada, the super power that i wish for you is that you never look like kip again. im not sure if that was halloween or just a sad day in the 80's, but i think you could do alot of good in this world, and uganda, if you get rid of the big glasses and lose the molester mostache. (ps. aside from that i like really like you so i hope there is no offense taken!)
oops, that was supposed to say adam, not ada.
ps. i like to think of adam singing, "i like biology....."
We love Adam too and are sad that we didn't get to spend more time with him before we all left the good ole Northwest!
It was fun spending time with all of you (I'm trying hard not to say "y'all" too much, know that makes Ben mad, ha!). It was a great few days and we look forward to doing it again soon!!
i haven't read it yet, but I had to get here as soon as I could:
I really hope that he is training to be a cage fighter. Cause that'd be sweet.
ok. Now I'll read it.
p.s. I heard a story about The Boy and I'm glad he "does" what he "does" at the dinner table... you are sooooo lucky :)
I love it when you say funny things, funny mama!
Jen,
Thanks for hooking me up with a F.F.F.F. post. Of all the married women that I have lived with in my life, you are easily my favorite (besides my mom). Thanks for the ice, but I imagine you guys would need it more that I would right now. It has been raining everyday here for the last 2 weeks. It is freaken cold. Temperatures raging from a brisk 70 degrees to an absolutely freezing 60 degrees. So in reality I am already as cold as ice and I am willing to sacrifices our love. I never take advice, some day I will pay the price you know. Peace out Napoleon.
adam
That is the funniest picture! I just love Adam Langford. I only wish I had more time to enjoy his antics before he left!
You let this guy play with your Kids?
