Emma's first day of school in Washington

She was excited and woke up with more than enough time to get ready. We took her to school in time for breakfast and I stayed and sat with her. She did great and was brave. Tomorrow she'll ride the bus to and from school.

Aiden won't start 'til Friday and Emma will be able to eat breakfast with him to show him the ropes. His teacher will ride the schoolbus with them on there trip home after lunch. He's very excited.

Don't worry, TT. I'll bring your picture with me and we can have breakfast together every morning. Happy Christmas and Merry Halloween.

I can't type the sounds I'm making, but they are all joyful squeals and fluctuating "Aaah" and "ohhh" sounds as though Emma's never been to school before. I actually feel nervous for Aiden. No wait, I'm mostly excited. I don't know. I'm just so wound up about your kids being school age. What a milestone! It's so cool Emma can be with Aiden at his first morning of Kindergarten. Miss you guys!

PS. I did NOT post these comments at 1:15 in the morning. I think you're still on a Central Time Zone for your blog. Ha!
