I win!
I firmly believe that Bellingham, WA has more drive thru coffee places than the Portland/Vancouver area per capita! To prove it I will start taking a picture of everyone I see and I will not duplicate any one spot. That does not mean there will not be multiples of a chain coffee place. I did not take this picture but I will allow it represent the one on Sunset...

Two questions for clarification:
1. What is the population of your town?
2. Do you mean Portland/Vancouver proper or do you mean to include the adjacent townships, such as Gresham, Hillsboro, Clackamas, etc.?
1.approximately 67,000
2.I would prefer to include Gresham due to my allegiances but I suppose we will not include it to be fair.
