First Days of School
Here are pictures from the kids' first day of school. I was worried that Izzy wouldn't be able to go to her first day because I forgot to get her immunizations updated. I was relieved to find out that she has thirty days to get them and we were able to get them after school on her first day. Getting shots was a little sad. I had to hold her tight while she was screaming and trying to fight her way out. It was not pretty. Let me back up a minute. The kids used my keys the night before and I couldn't find them and then locked myself out of the house and didn't have any way to get Izzy to school. My neighbor drove up and was able to take us. (Her daughter goes to Head Start like Izzy but in the other class.) The parents were suppose to go on the first day but I had to figure out a way to get us to the doctors let alone back home. Ben was gone for his birthday with Aaron to a cabin up the mountain. Not Broke Back or anything! My friend, Diane came to the rescue and picked us up and took us to get shots. So, after the shots we thought she deserved some ice cream. What a morning! The kids all like their teachers and Emma says third grade is much better than second grade!

Have I ever told you that I want to eat Izzy? She is just the most precious thing I have ever seen or known...I want to eat her up. Rememeber when her and I were best friends when I was in Washington? BFF.
And I do not even feel bad for loving her so much, because when the other 2 kids were at the tiny cute age, I loved them the most. So it is even.
Understood.
Did you find your keys? Or are you camping in the back-yard?
(Also, is that ice cream or just a tower of frosting? Because if its a tower of frosting I want a refund on all my after-shot rewards.)
fall . . . and the first day of school . . . alittle scary but precious none the less. So glad all worked out and that all three are enjoying their new classes - but of course, they are extra smart and way beyond their classmates, i am sure.
Grandma
Oh Izzy with her hair tucked back = PRECIOUS! I know one day she will want grown up hair, but I never want her soft fluffy hair to go away.
And is it me or are E and A like middle schoolers?
holy crap! when did your kids get so big? they Do look like middleschoolers.... and OMG Izzy is the SPITTING image of you.... she looks so grown up.....
I miss you guys!!!
Jason, it's one of those cool clown upside down ice cream cone guys at Baskin Robins. That's what I'd pick if I could do it all over again! Oh, wait. I don't remember an after-shot reward!
Found the keys the next day! Inside the crack of the windshield wiper spot. Ben had to take the car somewhere else before someone else spotted them for us!
